OCTOBER 2011 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: As of this fall, I am retiring from raising cats, and Ravenpaw Siamese will be closing its doors. All current kittens are spoken for. I am not looking to re-home any adult cats.
A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has purchased kittens from me in the past. I've loved corresponding with you, meeting you, hearing your stories, finding the right kitten for your families. It's been a wonderful eight years, and even though I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my life--being a full-time mom and focusing on my writing--I'll miss always having kittens underfoot!
Thank you, so much. If you've come here looking for a kitten, please see my Links page for other breeders I recommend.
This website will be coming down sometime late this year or early next.
There's something special about Siamese cats. Maybe it's those huge and luminous blue eyes. Maybe it's the long legs and short, velvety fur. It could be the way their points accent their beautiful features: the straight, aristocratic noses...those big "bat ears"...long, slender tails...delicate little paws.
Perhaps it's their distinctive meow. Siamese have voices unlike any other cats...and boy, do they know how to use them! There's something wonderful about being greeted by a loud "myoww!" every time you walk in the door.
Or maybe it's their personality, the quirky presence of Siamese. Our Siamese use their front paws like hands and often try to type on the computer keyboard when I'm using it. They play fetch. They delight in fishing socks out of the drawer and then taking their "prey" to the bed. They drink from the faucets. They stand up on their hind legs and box with one another. They're just...Siamese.
...And we can't imagine life without them.

If you've never experienced a Siamese before, you're in for a treat. Any kitten you purchase from us will not be "just a pet." He or she will become your constant companion. Your lap warmer. Your furry baby. Your personal masseuse. Your friend.
And if you've had a Siamese in the past or are looking for another Meezer to add to your family, rest assured that a Ravenpaw kitten will not disappoint.

Ravenpaw is not a "cattery" in the traditional sense. Our female cats have the run of the house (they own the house!), and they are never caged or confined to a space smaller than a closed-off room. While males are confined out of necessity, they also get plenty of attention. Kittens here are eagerly anticipated, born with us beside them, and adored from the moment they arrive. When they are shipped or delivered to their permanent homes, they will have been handled daily and well-socialized so that they will be sweet, wonderful companions.
There's nothing like a Siamese; as their sapphire eyes might suggest, they are jewels among cats. If you're looking for a blue-eyed darling to provide that extra sparkle in your life, we would be thrilled to find just the right Siamese kitten for you.

Ravenpaw is a small cattery owned and operated by Meg (Burden) Leonard and Nick Leonard and ruled by Siamese. We are located in northeastern Nebraska. Ravenpaw is registered with the CFA, and we breed wedge-type ("modern") Siamese in all four CFA-recognized point colors (seal, blue, chocolate, and lilac).
Ravenpaw kittens are CFA registered and guaranteed for health and temperament. They are sold under a contract that protects both the buyer and the seller. At this time, all Ravenpaw kittens must be spayed/neutered by the time they are six months old; CFA registration papers will be held until the kitten is altered. Kittens are sold after fourteen weeks of age, and they will have all current vaccinations.

If you're interested in purchasing a kitten, please see this page for examples of our past kittens and information on current availability. Please also see our frequently asked questions page for prices, policies, and other information.
After that, please e-mail or call to let us know what you're looking for.
Please note that, in order to control our cats' environment and keep it as safe for them as possible, Ravenpaw Siamese is a closed cattery, not open to the public.
